Swiss watchmaker Chopard has recently unveiled four new watches based on a blue theme under the Happy Sports Collection that was launched back in 1993. These watches made up of steel and other precious stones, represent the ocean Blue theme with the dial representing the deep-blue Ocean colors and the splash of other colors to represent multi-colored fishes and turquoise waters lapping around the sand.
The Happy Ocean steel variant comes with 40mm case and is waterproof for up to 300m of depth. The bezels are made up of anodized aluminum marked with a diving scale and unidirectional revolving movement. The area showing up 0 to 15 mins is marked with shades of raspberry and turquoise.
These watches come with the company’s own automatic mechanical movement, the calibre Chopard 01.0,1-C, offering 60 hours of power reserve.
The dial is made with a dark blue matt finish featuring five floating diamonds as a reference to its Happy Sport Collection. The minute hand comes with a luminous coating of pink and turquoise based on the selected models. Similarly, the other variant has got stones affixed on the bezel rim with a shade of pink and turquoise at 0-15 mins positions. The stones used here includes rubies, sapphires, and topaz.
The Chopard Happy Ocean watches comes at a price of 7,800 CHF for its steel variant. While the Blue diamond collection is priced for 49,000 CHF and the Pink Diamond for 54,330 CHF.
