Glashütte Original unveils the Colorful Sixties Iconic Square Collection

Taking back us to the time of the 1960s, watchmaker Glashütte Original has recently unveiled the Original Sixties Iconic Square Collection that comes in a range of several bright colour options.

The design trend of this latest collection is much similar to the 1960s Spezimatic watches that featured casing patterns from round to square shapes featuring bright coloured dials like orange and green. Drawing a leaf from these earlier design patterns, the latest Square Sixties Chronographs come in the same funky and bright colours.

The Original Sixties Iconic Square Collection from Glashütte features five different coloured watches: Sixties Iconic Tangerine (orange), Sixties Iconic Fire (red), Sixties Iconic Ocean (blue), Sixties Iconic Forest (green) and Sixties Iconic Graphite (grey with a textured dial).

Having a close look at the watches, you will find a “dégradé effect” created using several layers of coloured lacquers with light to dark shade as we move from the centre to the perimeters.

Note that all these five models come with square shaped stainless steel case measuring 41.35mm x 41.35xx along with a thickness of 12.6mm. All of this watches are powered by Calibre 39-34 chronograph and runs at 4Hz boasting 40 hours of reserve power.

So if you are at all in love with this new yet retro collection from Glashütte Original, gift yourself one from their original website. The watches are priced for USD 9700.
