Take a look at the Limited Edition of Monsieur de Chanel in Black Enamel Dial

The Monsieur de Chanel collection from famous watchmaker Chanel grew to fame as it was the first men’s watch that featured an in-house produced movement – Caliber 1. The watch received a worldwide appreciation for putting up the best mechanics for its machine coupled with an aesthetically bold look.

This year the watchmaker has revived the Monsieur de Chanel collection by announcing some limited edition watches that comes with a platinum case and a sleek black enamel dial.

However, the new collection features watches that are pretty much similar to the first edition Monsieur in terms of having the same Caliber 1 movement and a jumping-hour with a retrograde minute hand. However, some of the changes in the latest edition include a 40mm platinum case along with a sapphire case back. What makes the watch unique is the movement of its retrograde minute hand. The watch is designed to move the minute hand in both forward and backward direction without causing any damage to it.

This new dial comes in black enamel, with a 240-degree minute hand movement along with circled over the second’s hand. The jumping-hour digital display is placed at the 6’oclock position of the watch.

However, as said this is a limited edition timepiece and will be available for only first 100 pieces for a price of $63,000.
